Re: Netflix’s Alexander..

I haven't seen it, but it seems to have provoked quite a bit of Alexander interest as there is quite a bit of activity over on AO3 (Archive of Our Own fan fiction). Re: Pothos now inherited by Alexias and on a new server.

Ah, thanks! Yes, I have been an Alexander fan since I first read Mary Renault. but until the internet came along the only sources of information were the local library and, later, the occasional books I could find and buy. I have learnt so much since the internet came along!

Re: New pages

Heckel's Who's Who, which you can downlo...

When you're working out your plan, by all means let me know if there is anything I can do to help, whether writing new material, updating existing, etc.
Certainly will, thank you. I'm playing about with some add-on modules to the board at the moment to enhance what options are available.

Re: The Oasis at Siwah

The warm temperature is constant but feels different from a cold hand at midnight than to a warm/hot one in the afternoon. That sounds a reasonable explanation, and welcome! Though possibly the water may heat up during the day with the sun. Water retains heat longer than the ground so it may be sti...

New pages

You should see a new link along the top of the page - 'About pothos.org'. I've discovered a few toys I can play about with, so you may see some changes! We now have plenty of space on the new host, so I may upload some translations, photos. The main pages of the site really need updating as well, so...

This article mentions a silver-gilt button depicting Alexander, also found in Denmark. Not sure if this is the one you mean! https://www.thehistoryblog.com/archives/69970

Their relationship must have ...
