Theatre event for our US Pothosians

Dear all,

My mother went yesterday to the Tricycle Theatre Company's day-long theatre event called "The Great Game: Afghanistan". This was a day-long event, comprising around nine plays, dealing with the history of Afghanistan from the first Afghan War of 1842, up to the present day. I wasn't able to go, having just come back from holiday, but by the sound of it it was fantastic.

It is going to be on tour in the US:

15-26 September: The Shakespeare at the Harman, Washington
29 Sept - 17 October: The Guthrie at The Maguire Proscenium, Minneapolis
22 Oct - 7 November: Berkeley Repertory Theatre at The Roda Theatre, Berkeley
1 Dec - 19 December: The Public at The Skirball, Washington Square, New York
