Happy to say I've been to the site and the museum. We took the drive across from Mykenae (routes 111 & 74) via Levdi and Lagkadia right through what would have been ancient Arcadia. Wonderfull drive through mountain villages.

There is a Bettany Hughes TV series where she visits Olympia and Aegae and shows a reconstruction of the temple of Zeus. I am no idea if you can watch this outside of the UK https://www.channel4.com/programmes/bet ... /72732-001
