Writing Alex. T. Great Report.

Post by eagle »

Hey guys/gals. I'm writen a report on THE Alexander the great, we got to pick our research topics and i figured why not do it on the greatest military mind in history? Everyone else is doing Benjamin Franklin practically and I wanted to do it on something interesting. Any tips or help anyone could add? I have to have it done today so any help would be greatly appreciated!

What are you trying to say with this report? If
you're looking for someone to write the paper for
you you've come to the wrong place. But if you
want some advice, please email me what you
have written and I'll be glad to critique it for you.
Advice: try to say something original or unique
and then come up with facts to support your
thesis.

nono man i wouldnt do that even if someone gave me the report, thats plagerism. I'm just looking for advice. The report has to be on 3 things, His life (birth and death), military accomplisments, and significance to history.

Too bad you left it til the last minute because you need to read as much as you can about him in order to draw a fair conclusion. And for the novice, I'd suggest Mary Renaults books just to give you the 'flavor' and essence of his life, then books like R.L. Fox's "Alexander the Great" and there are many, many others.

You could write how he was born to estranged
parents but discovered himself and became his
own man. About his military accomplishments,
write about his victories against much larger
armies. Also on his life, you could write about
how his life may be viewed as life imitating art
given his lifelong obsession with Homer's "Iliad"
and his admiration of Achilles.
His death and legacy is establishing the
supremacy of the western/european world in the
middle east and central asia, paving the way for
both Rome and later, the Christian religion
