Database problems today - 14th April

Apologies for the strange errors and "white screens" today. 
The first was odd and I tracked it down to a known problem associated with phpBB - but not their fault. Something to do with the web server I use and the database not using the same data type.
The second was me being dim. At least that one only lasted for a short time!
