Saturnalian drink

Post by agesilaos »

Anyone upfor a drink/argument in London during the Xmas break?
When you think about, it free-choice is the only possible option.

Move it to Sydney and your on. I'll shout, but you should know that we DO NOT drink Fosters down here. Its our revenge on the world that stuff. We use it to clean toilets.

Dave J - I visited Sydney in June 2001 with my wife and sons for 11 days - it was absolutley fantastic!! I truly fell in love with the place. And your local transportation makes Tampa, Florida look like a backwards village. We are looking to a return visit in a few years. Nice to see there's someone in Sydney who participates in the forum. P.S. My youngest son celebrated his 18th birthday in Sydney and his older brother introduced him to Guinness. As for me, I'm more of mixed drink guy, but enjoy an occasional ale (I know, my sons think I'm a lightweight in the drinking realm).

You know, we should arrange a Pothos' Biennial Meeting somewhere, no? I always thought this my sister's idea quite charming.... But, ummm, i believe the thing would actually end up either in mutiny or in a two-day nonstop wine carousal.... or both. Nevertheless, looks fun!!susa

Does the host country pay for flights, accommodation, food and drink? :-)

Karl - you can count me in for the drink - but I'll
only argue if there are no sharp implements
around - I've no wish to end up like Kleitos (or
end up skewering some one in a London pub!)
