There is an exhibition going on in the Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens, Greece and it's dedicated to the Chaeronea battle where Alexander 18 years old then crushed the sacred band of Thebes. There's a lot going on there which I hope to post here, as well as the skeletons of the deceased.

That does look good, I must admit.

What a shame it finishes at the end of March. Otherwise I might have considered a cheeky little trip to Athens to see it! :-(

To Marcus .I shall visit the exbition and taking the more possible fotos .Of course is another feeling being there , and see the remains of the men of the Sacred Band and the remains of the Macedonians ! Anyway , as you probably heard from the podcast the battle was a real slaughter-Alexander was there !
