Re: The reconstructed Face Not Philip II of Macedon
After Cassander's death in 297, the whole dinasty was annihilated in a short period of time. King Philip IV, the oldest son of Cassander died in 297 after only a few months on the macedonian throne. Thessalonice, the wife of Cassander and the regent of two sons, was brutally killed in 295 by her son...

Re: The birthplace of Antipater is village Palikura in Maced
I was very happy to share my insight and conclusion that Palikura was identical with Palioura, which is the birthplace of Antipater. Palikura happens to lie in Uper Macedonia, near the ancient town Stobi, the Republic of Macedonia. What is nationalistic in presentation of the fact in this way? The b...

The remains in antechamber of Tomb II, belongs Thessalonice!
According to a concept presented by me the gold larnax in the antechamber of Tomb II contains the bone remains of Thessalonice. Cassander who died un-expectedly in 297 at an age of about 50 year, was succeded by his oldest son Philip IV. However, the young king only after few months on the macedonia...

The birthplace of Antipater is village Palikura in Macedonia
The birthplace of Antipater was known as Palioura in Uper Macedonia and until now its location was regarded as uncertain. However, the toponym Palioura was preserved almost unchanged as Palikura, a village near ancient city Stobi in Republic of Macedonia. Palikura is according to my statement identi...

The reconstructed Face Not Philip II of Macedon
The facts presented by others confirms that reconstructed Face is not that of Philip II of Macedon, but probably that of Cassander according to the concept introduced by me. The remains in main chamber of tomb II belongs to Cassander
Hello Kenny,
The reason that artistic Scientist rebuilding of the Face from the Tomb II based on the bone remains which is supposed to belongs to Philip II does not look much like the aparent face of the Ivory portrait of Philipl II is clear, because it shows the Face of Cassander.

Tomb I, also known as the Tomb of Persephone, is the tomb of Philip II.
