Since it is a highly regarded science foundation, the Demokritos foundation published an article- product of many years of research that the pieces of Phlip's II funeral mask, worn by the high priest of his time, have been found and suspected to have been burnt along with Philip. The mask is mad from porfira fabric and the rare material huntite which has a characteristic that it burns slowly. The research results are going to be official presented in a conference in Thessaloniki city.

According to a new theory the young dead woman was the daughter of Athea, king of the Skithian people. The research also revealed new anthropological data for the supposed to be Philip II.

Unfortunately the link is in greek.

Too bad I don't read Greek much? Philip's likeness could perhaps be nailed down a bit further.
