And that is why we have a lot of Greeks here as well.So advertise your rubbish somewhere else.Alexander was the King of the Macedonians and not the king of Hellas(LOL) or the king of Greece(LOL).

I forgot his name (like it matters), but he is supposedly accepted by the "International Greek Community" as the most believable looking Alexander. This movie is a $120,000,000 epic covering his whole life. It is a non-hollywood production, so, may lack some of the glitz and grandeur, but also, might not receive the widespread distribution that the other films will enjoy. I haven't heard anything on this film yet, but looks to be coming out in 2005, or 2006. A little ways off yet...but, nevertheless, unlikely to make it to a mainstream audience.later Nicator

greek interest is in sustaining its glorious history and culture. something you will never understand. not in the falsification and confusion that is undertaken by the real propagandists.

A Macedonian, Alexander, is what this site is about, and not for the sustainance of any Greek interests!Macedonians have their own history, culture, etc.

"You are confusing the highlighting of this Greek propaganda film with hostilities.Any hostile posts on this site are deleted. This film should also be deleted."First off, i'm not going to justfify your assertion that this film is "Greek propaganda". Since nobody (outside those directly involved with the production) knows what the content of the film is, it's a bit silly to call it anything yet. Second, you are flirting with the Greek/Macedonian debate rather closely, and may be censored anyway. Third, I'm not confusing anything...your comments can be perceived as hostile, and inflammatory to anyone who considers themselves Greek...so once again, what's with the attitude?Beyond that, Alexander was more than a Macedonian King. He was King of Macedon by inheritance, ruler of Hellas by treaty, and of Sparta by conquest, King of Persia by conquest, Pharoah of Egypt by annexation. He was the king/ruler of nearly every civilazation to which he came into contact...truly the first international man. Trying to claim him by ethnicity is an archaic construct destined for failure. You are better than this, so please act accordingly...Yours, Nick
