I started visiting Greece in '78, lived in Athens (Plaka) from '83 - 89 and have lived there for six month stints on an off since. Was just there for 7 wks this summer. Have lots of friends around the Plaka area. I absolutely love Athens and consider it my second home. If you want to read about a good Alexander tour, check out my website:

RuthYou couldn't be persuaded to put a little of your novel on your web site? Just as a taster? We have heard so much about it, that, like Maciej, I can't wait to read it...Linda

Hi Linda, well acutally I've considered that. I just have to decide what and how much, but I have the first part of Ch.1 ready and might do it soon, then just a few vignettes for the major characters. As it's multiple p.o.v. I'm not sure...I had started this originally as a juvenile historical about Alexander's son Alexander IV but after a year of writing I realized it was far too political and complicated a story to aim at the young market. So I started over and it has grown into a major project of Homeric proportions. I'll let you know when I get some of it posted. Thanks for asking.
