Premiere Magazine Article

In America, the article on the movie featuring Colin Farrell is now on the newstands. It is not a collector's item. But the more interesting study of magazines on the stands right now is another featuring Johnny Depp in his role in the movie Neverland, asking if this role is his Oscar winning role. Having Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell featured next to one another gives me a glimpse of what is in store for awards in tinseltown. The Premiere article refers to various scenes, one of which is likely to cause Colin to be nominated for best actor also, and that is the mutiny speech which apparently caused tears amongst the crew members.Odd that I had just mentioned that speech on the Stone discussion group not long ago, and voila! there it is in this article! all dependent upon Oliver Stones interpretation. As a former English teacher, I gave credit to my students for seeing historical movies and making reports on them in my English Literature classes.I like movies as a means of classroom discussion, so while I don't recommend the article at all, I do recommend the movie sight unseen yet.But as Shakespeare warned against anyone disturbing his bones, I suggest that all deceased be treated with due respect, and that a curse not come down upon Stone's head if he doesn't do ATG respectfully. And Robin Lane Fox's head also.
