Did someone post concerning Vangelis's views on the Alexander score or something about his thoughts on this composition? I was meaning to follow up on this and now can't find any links. Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.
TIA
Halil

Forgot to mention that I find his work at "Bladerunner" to be sublime. An absolute masterpiece! (even if "Chariots of Fire" got all the glory)

Hello YiannisThe movie score seems to be getting high praise from some very knowledgeable people. I would agree about Bladerunner, but also enjoy "Chariots" immensely, but then I enjoy most of Vangelis work. Thanks for the links, I will follow them up this time. I did read somewhere that Vangelis had his own views up about the how/why of his writing these particular themes. Have you seen this anywhere?CheersHalil

Thanks, Dara. This was the link I was looking for. I wish it had been a longer interview - Vangelis hardly had time to say anything, but the little he did manage to say, was enlightening. Thanks again.Halil
