Humanity

Companions,Prior to leaving for Iran I noticed some inappropriate messages. It appears to have turned into a full-scale virus!Unfortuantely some Greeks, like peoples of any other race, have a sense of superiority, often associated with narrow-mindedness and xenophobia. This attitude often reminds me of a newly emerging consciousness in a new-born baby, where the world can only be seen through its own eyes and experiences. It does not have the ability to see the World from any other percpective...Whereas I did not have time to travel the breadth and depth of Iran, as I would have liked, I did have time to indulge in my other passion, observing people.Looking at the Iranians, I found faces that appeared, Persian (as I expected), but also those that appeared Turkish, Mongol, Greek, Arab, Aryan (from which the word Iran is derived), etc.You could see history unfolding in front of your very eyes!Which, to make a point, humanity is best seen as a light. When you break it down, it comprises of a rich tapestry, where one piece, although unique, is no greater than the other. The differences complement each other and if you step back you will see that they, collectively, make the illumination of humanity. It is sad that with all the political boundaries that exist, people make slaves of themselves by imposing boundaries on their own self. This is the greatest poverty.OPEN YOUR MIND.Regards,
Atha
