Disregard For Macedonia

This post has only to do with Alexander as its about Macedonia and maybe Romes deisregard for the province.

over in the Uk the BBC have started airing the second superb series Rome. The Series is focused on the period following Caesars assasination. the intrugue and politics. A theme cort my attention. It was focusing on Mark Anthonys posting to Macedonia. andto him it was as if hed been posted to Siberia. im not at all familiar with Roman thougfht patterns and ideas. but would this opinion of Macedonia by the Roman Elite be correct. If so and the Great roman Generals admired Alexander then Why did the Romans hold Macedonia in so low regard.

We know the Romans absorbed Greeknes. Architecture Sculpure etc. I suppose it hold the torch to wethe the Romans actually thought Macedonia was greek even. And or even dismissing Macedonia as nothing yet it was the birth blace of Alexander The great.
