Question for Marcus and or Brits.

If you watched the Christmas DR WHo..... Dont you think the Badies with Angels wings looked a little Alexander Like?

Further more and about Statues. Something Ive wonders whenever there are Roman or Greek statues. Apart from the obvious ones Caesar and Augustus. Are the generalised sculpures based and idiolised from Alexander.

Many statues pop up andmy kids shout its Alexander. Im aware the Colosus of Rhodes was Alexander and to be honest most of the Classic Staues loog like Alexander. And I would go suffice and guess. Michaelangelos David looks like Alexander.

All the heads do lookAlexander and inparticular the hair.

All those Greek statues all look alike! Can you for one minute believe that all Greeks looked alike? You are so right...they all look alike, yet in a study of Alexander, I have seen at least ten different looks and profiles of him alone! So now what do you suppose he really looked like?

Jan your quite right about most Greek statues but some are Specific.Plato. Demosthenese,Socrates to name but a few. And a few Roman Statues. Caesar and Augustus. They are all specific.

But the classic statues of David etc etc all look uncanny like Alexander. The Classic youthful look and the shoulder length curly hair at a guess is classic Alexander.

Hi Kenny, yes, I saw Dr Who. Highlight of Christmas TV, wouldn't miss it. The baddie angels (the Host) didn't strike me as looking like Alexander though, sorry. I thought they looked more like the 'Oscar' prizes, only life-sized, of course.
