Someone has emailed me to say she tried to register, but hasn't yet received the email from Pothos that she has to reply to before she can become a member.
Are there currently problems, what shall I advise her?

Wow, it's been so long since I registered that I don't recall the details! Doesn't the email contain the automatically generated computer password? Hmm, I think the first thing to do would be to have your friend check that the Pothos email isn't being blocked for some reason. I see that we have several new members over the past couple of weeks but no one has yet posted, so there's no way to tell (unless they speak up!) whether or not the same thing happened to them.
If your friend is sure that there's no Spam-blocker at work then feel free to drop me an email or PM. Give me the details - member name, email address used for registering, etc., and I'll let Thomas know there is a problem.
