Hello.
You don't know me, seeing as I pretty much just lurk here, so I might as well introduce myself... I'm a high school student with a passion for classics, and as you might guess, my name refers to the city, not the bone.
For a while I've been lurking around this forum and I really love it here, and have learned a great deal (though I'm a bit shy about entering the discussions myself, ignorant as I am.) But anyway, it's a perfect atmosphere for discussion--a nice mix of true academics and amateur scholars. I love the ideas that are tossed around here, and the members seem to have a very solid knowledge base.
Anyway, as much as I adore Alexander, I'm interested in other classics topics and would love to extend my lurking to other forums. Are there any forums out there with a similar atmosphere to Pothos that cover other aspects of the classical world besides ATG? (I'm more into Greece than Rome, though the more time I spend in Latin class the more that shifts...
) In any case, I can't seem to find any sort of online discussion forum at all similar to Pothos. Are there any such sites out there?
Thank you!
