Oh, I am laughing at myself now...I admit that I truly enjoyed reading this article. Just amazing to think that I recently explained why I had never wanted to be someone's doormat, and now, I see this story about the Roman's making a mosaic that they can stand on! Oh boy! Thanks, Sikander, the timing of this is utterly humorous to me! OHHHHHHHH

But what a great article!

Too true, Jan!
One thing they never did to Alexander was treat him like a doormat - and even when the mosaic was made they avoided treading on
him!
