In 'ATG King Commander and Statesman' NGL Hammnond quotes from a papyrus P.Oxy 1798 which he has restored and translated, however none of the translation given is in square brackets to indicate what has been restored he merely brackets his own glosses.'And they acquited those with him in the theatre and the special guards and those round the throne, but he(ie Alexander) delivered the diviner to the Macedones to punish. And they crucified him. And the body of Philip he handed over to the attendants to bury....' p39 pb ed.I have tried searching the web but cannot find this papyrus does anyone out there have the actual text? Only to tentatively restore something and then not note the extent of the restoration seems a poor show perhaps there is a fuller version in his article in Greek Roman and Byzantine Studies 19 (1978) 331ff 'Philip's Tomb in Historical Context' Can anyone help?
