And the body of Philip he handed over to the attendants to bury....' p39 pb ed.I have tried searching the web but cannot find this papyrus does anyone out there have the actual text? Only to tentatively restore something and then not note the extent of the restoration seems a poor show perhaps there is a fuller version in his article in Greek Roman and Byzantine Studies 19 (1978) 331ff 'Philip's Tomb in Historical Context' Can anyone help?

I have a number of the Oxyrhnchus Papyri in book format but, unfortunately, not the one in question. The papyri have been reprinted by Oxford University Press by the (and 'sold at' the) Egypt Exploration Society, 3 Doughty Mews, London, WCIN 2PG. The edition (or 'part') should be somewhere around volume 15. I realize this isn't much help, but if you can find them in a library or resource center somewhere, the reference should be able to be easily located. There are sparce, and often questionable, references to Alexander in the different volumes of the papyri.
