Someone has posted a review of the lecture last night on Alexander as a cross-dresser here http://thesecondachilles.com/2013/01/26 ... the-world/

Thank you for posting this item.
I think the lecture at BM was the same or, at least, based on a paper of the same scholar I found and downloaded here in pothos.org (Alexander the coss-dresser? by marcus, Thu.Sep 20, 2012, 5.03 pm.; article by Antony Spawforth,"The Pamphleteer Ephippus, King Alexander and the Persian Royal Hunt",Histos 6, (2012),pp.169-203). If so, I agree with almost all conclusions he draws (Ephippus misunderstood Alexander), but I think *annotating60* is, in his own words "a bad note taker". Otherwise I have to admit Mr.Spawforth has changed his mind about Alexander and Ephippus.
