yes...he is italian storicist!
He wrote many other books of historical-romance (the last one is "L'ULTIMA LEGIONE": the last legion).
I never read his works 'cose i'm rather doubtful about the storicists like him who join stupid italian pseudo-scientific programs in tv, either write books so effective and "earny"!!!
However, he is friend of my teacher at university, and,if only he didn't miss the fly from Istambul, i could know him in person!!Cherete
