Marly horses

The Marly horses are a large pair of French 18th cent. sculptures of classical grooms restraining horses. They could possibly represent the Dioscuri, who were associated with horses. They were widely copied in the 19th cent and I picked up a cheap spelter copy of the left hand one, which could pass for Alexander taming Bucephalus.
