An interesting head for sale http://www.artancient.com/antiquities-f ... hlete.html. It has all the 'Alexander' attributes of the period - deep-set eyes, small full mouth, prominent brow, curly hair. Could be anyone, even Hephaestion, though probably not Alexander as the attributes are not pronounced enough. Date c 300 BC. Cost £56,000.
