Elexander's last battles were in south west India [Now this area is in Pakistan]One of these battles is battles with Maloi tribe at Multan city .It was a hard battle .Alexander injured badly in this battle,and with broken heart returned to greece after this battle ,because his army was disappointed .
There are two sources of knowledge about Alexander ,One of them is writings of his historians and other is traditions of people. It is admited fact that court's historians writes in favour of his king therefore we should read these writings with care ,because in these writings some facts may be wrong Next source of knowledge is traditions and sayings of people. About Akexander'death there is only one tradition in Pakistan,an it is that Alexander was injured with a posioned arrow ,and it was result of hids death .I think it may be correct .We should it consider about the mysterious death of this Great king

between them and (if I remeber correctly)
Alexander led a portion of his army throught
some desert- If several week of thirst weren't
enought to help the posion along I doubt a bout
of drinking would either. So sounds like that
claim is bullshit.

Hi Chris,I don't disagree that a poisoned arrow at the city of the Malli cannot have been the cause of Alexander's death. But there might be a grain of truth in it, in that Alexander cannot have come away from such a wound completely scot-free. If Alexander's lung was damaged by the arrow, yet he spent much of the next couple of years in extremely dry environments, it might not have made much of a difference. But when he got back to the marshy area around Babylon, where the atmosphere will have been very different, any illness that he contracted could have inflamed his damaged lung (or been exacerbated by his damaged lung) and result in his death.So I would be loath to say that the alternative story is *entirely* BS, although in it's raw form it cannot be right, indeed.All the bestMarcus
