Hi,I know that the following question is not connected with Alexander the Great but, .... from the other side, has connections with his favorite book. :-) So, I would like to know the ethnology of king Priam's family. Somewhere I found out that he was an Ethiopian. Is this true? Actually, do you know sth. more about Troy, its story (before the Troyan war), who established this town and who were its
inhabitants... and... of course, the blood-ties of its Royal house. Thanks, Poliksena

You can get some information here: http://www.pantheon.org/areas/genealogy ... _troy.html
Teucer was the son of the river Scamander and the nymph Idaea, and was the legendary ancestor of the Trojans; hence the Trojans are often called "Teucrians." He should not be confused with the Teucer who was the son of Telamon and the brother of Ajax, and who fought against Troy during the Trojan War.
