Can't find info on this one anywhere? Maybe they just didn't have a general on the left that day?

Kardakes or Cardaces(Iranian youth)
Roll the dice or flip a coin, good luck on this one,Persian infantry behind the archers, weak side and when Alexander charged, a whole lot of confusion. I'm with you I'd love to hear the input. Orxathres or Darius who commanded from the center? Would be my guess or who ever was the commander of the Geek mercenaries? Good question I don't think anyone led the left

Unless its some little blurb off the beaten (Issus) trail, I can't seem to find it in any of my books. Arrian, Diodorus, Plutarch, Green, Fuller, Hammond, Bosworth, Savill, Renault, Wilcken, or Engels. I guess it's just not available, unless Curtius has it...he's the only source I haven't read (directly), and don't have access to. (Originally, I intentionally avoided him, but now would be more open to reading him).later Nicator
