Hi all,It now looks like the Leonardo film will probably not see the light of day until at least 2008 as both director and 'star' are looking like taking on other projects first. Even if filming commenced in September 2004, as was last reported, it would not reach theatres until at least 2006!Also, it now seems that Leo never actually fully commited to the film by signing on-! Baz may well be waiting for Oliver Stones film to be released before even starting his script, to avoid 'sameness'!!!Col and Olly now have a clear run.....run Colin run!regardsKit.

I can't say that I'm too surprised by that. If Stone's film is as successful as it looks to be, we may never see another film. But that 10 part mini-series would be par for the course. Actually, this story would be much better told through a vehicle such as a mini-series, that way they won't have to cram everything in, and can alot for character development. Looking at "Saving Private Ryan" and its spin-off "Band of Brothers", I'd say they are definitely onto something there.later Nicator

I suppose it would depend on the production values, as mini-series tend not to have the budget of big cinema releases. But I take your point, imagine 10 one hour episodes!regardsKit.
