portrait painters

I cannot really understand that portrait painters are someway related to oil paintings? my school mate says it's true. If yes, in what way ?? any ideas plse !!

Hello archi and welcome to this site. I'm not exactly an art expert, and I've never heard of "paintyourlife.com". It seems that they do portraits in oil. I'm not sure what connection you're looking for other than that. One of the most famous portraits, the "Mona Lisa" was done in oil. I'm sorry I can't be much more of a help, but history would be my passion.
