oliver stone and the pink dollar
it has been sugested that oliver stone is aiming at the pink dollar just because of his accurate portrail of alexander. caeser, mark anthony and hadrian to name a few generals from history had male lovers. im sorry if the facts are distasteful to those who like the historical greats to be 100% "red blooded" males acording to todays standards, one cant change the past to suit todays ethos, these men would not know what "homo" ment they were simply themselfs, they were pagan and not subject to christian beliefs.

'they were simply themselves, they were pagan and not subject to christian beliefs'Those must have been the good ol' days. Today life is based on intolerance and ignorance. I'm just glad Stone is not afraid and is going for accuracy.GA

Re: oliver stone and the pink dollar
Hi Peter,I'm not aware that anyone has suggested that Stone is aiming at the "pink dollar".Whether or not his portrayal of Alexander is "accurate" is yet to be seen, and has nothing to do with whether he is hoping to increase his takings from the gay community. All the bestMarcus
Re: oliver stone and the pink dollar
Thanks for the education about the "pink dollar". I had not known that one til now.Box Office is the credo for producers, isn't it?
Re: oliver stone and the pink dollar
I am not aware of any evidence to suggest that Caesar or Mark Antony were gay or homosexual or whatever. As far as Oliver hoping for Pink Dollars, I don't know about that. I think he will be heavily working the conspiracy theories though. If there is evidence to suggst the Casear or Mark Antony were gay please share. "Not that there is anything wrong with that".
