ATG Movie Projected Date of Release

Post by Thalestris »

This is probably known already, but in case it is not, the projected date of release in theaters is November 14, 2004. My apologies if this posting is redundant.Cheers,Thalestris

Hi Thalestris,That's good - I knew it was supposed to be around November, but I didn't know a definite date had been set.Do you know whether that's worldwide release, or just the US? (Staggered releases are much less common now, I know, but there are still some films that get a week or two in the US before crossing the pond). All the bestMarcus

Greetings Marcus! From long-term memory recall I am confident to state that it is worldwide. I do not have a date of release for "Troy", other than it is worldwide released in May. Alexander and his hero all in 2004 - a classicist's euphoria.Huzzah!Thalestris

I'm still in two minds whether I want to see someone else's vision of Alexander the Great...What I find odd, but maybe that's just a Dutch thing, is that November 14th is on a Sunday; movies generally open on a Thursday over here. Which means the premiere is on Thursday and the general public get to see it on Friday.

Then perhaps the magazine article meant November 12th...again it is 'projected', not determined.Thalestris
