Well that's more like it. The first one looked like a CD jacket. I just browsed throught the site. Worth a second look just to get the opinions in the forum. I'm still not 100% convinced but let's hope we will be pleasantly surprised.

If you look at the production pictures on the site, the first one is of Farrell (Alexander) with Jolie (Olympias).Is it just me, or does Farrell look uncannily like the loathsome Jim Carrey? :-)All the best, still in shock!Marcus

Thanks for all the links. Not that I think that anything we say here will affect production, but I really wish that one of these two producers would emphasize the discipline of the troops as that is one of the most impressive aspects of this time and this work. It would impress me if either of these producers would show the real reason the Macedonian soldiers were so successful. It is sheer drama to witness the skill, the discipline of ATG when he fools the Agrianians with his stratagem of drill-ground manoeuvers. How I wish one of these productions would incorporate that early scene in his career.
